Podcast

The Butterfly Diaries explore the world inside out.

Most contents you find on the show spring to life from journal entries and experiences made in

the natural world. The podcast ventures into the realm of nervous system regulation and by harnessing

the power of imagination through visualisations invites you into the wilderness of

your own bodymind.

The Butterfly Diaries also feature intriguing autobiographical aspects:

How to regenerate from a condition that Western medicine says to be incurable? How to survive in an abandoned industrial building, alone? How to become a shepherd in the Northern Alps?

On a meta-physical level, the podcast ponders some of the great questions of our time:

What makes a human endure existential crisis?

How to not fear but embrace change and pain? And: What does it take to rewild?

Welcome to The Butterfly Diaries.

Visualisations

The power of visualisations derives from the brain´s ability to respond to imagination in the same way as it would to real experience. This means, you can engage with the mind to activelly and consciously modify your organism, your wellbeing, and most amazingly the neuronal connections in your brain.

Since visualisations are so incredibly powerful, I here like to share with you some of my own making. :)

All places that I visualise are locations that I visited myself. I hope this will provide tangibility

and create a space to which you like to return to when in need for rejuvination.

Now: Be invited to find a comfortable position. Close your eyes, and tune into your senses:

sight, smell, touch, taste, hearing, body position, all feelings of interoception, ... .

These visualisations are for you.
